Kettlebell workouts are the most refreshing way to build strength and burn fat

By Chris Rivers

A Kettle bell is a iron weight which looks like a cannonball with a handle weighing between 5lbs to over 100lbs. These devices originated from Russia and have been in use in the western world over the last few years. This type of training is not a new one as it began in ancient Greece . Kettlebell workout routines are unique because they offer different type of exercises with dynamic moves targeting different fitness aspects. Kettlebell training focuses on flexibility, strength, agility, balance, endurance and cardiovascular exercises. Various individuals prefer using them because these exercises require only one equipment and is quite challenging and efficient.

consider this for a moment; what other single fitness apparatus can give you a full body workout, engaging all major and minor muscle groups in as little as 20 minutes? Add into that the fact that you burn more calories per a minute doing a kettle bell workout than any other training regime available today. And what's more you get one bad ass cardiovascular session to really put the cherry on the cake.

This training involves you holding the Kettlebell in both hands and does different swings presses and pulling motions. Some of these exercises are swings, Turkish get ups, figure 8, kettlebell high pull, overhead cross, one Arm Swing, snatch to name a few.

A great benefit of this type of training and one of its most appealing features is that it's very cheap to get started off training. You're never going to have to break the bank to get in shape again. Kettlebells can be bought from around 15 for an 8kg for women and around 28 for a 16kg for men; and these weights are genuinely considered great starter weights as they are not to heavy or to light.

Compared to other fitness equipments, these are the most affordable equipments, because you only need some few sets of kettlebells and you are good to go. Getting quality equipments is considered an investment in the long run. After getting them you can bring them to your home where you can be working out daily, in order to get into shape. The good thing about Kettlebell is that they require a very small space for storage and working out.

Also it's inexpensive. You can buy the equipment for as low as $30 and train every with it and thats a big saving on hefty gym memberships.
